1.1 “Agreement” means these supplemental terms and conditions in combination with my General Terms & Conditions.
1.2 The “Service” means the Backup and Updates Service.
1.3 The “Website” means the website for which I am providing this service to You.
2 Backup Service
2.1 The Website will be backed up daily.
2.2 The Service includes backup storage of up to 10GB, or as otherwise agreed between us in writing. Each backup consumes some space so the size of all files on the Website which can be backed up will be less than 10GB.
2.3 Backup files will be kept for 120 days, after which time they are automatically deleted.
3 Update Service
3.1 Where updates are available for plugins and themes used by the Website, and the core WordPress software, they will be updated automatically. This normally happens within a day or two of the update becoming available but I may delay or prevent an update for technical reasons, for example if I am aware of compatibility issues.
4 Website Problems
4.1 Support for restoring from backups or for dealing with any issues caused by plugin updates is not included in the Service. Any support You ask for in this respect will be charged at standard hourly rates, or as otherwise agreed between us in writing. However, if an update causes problems with the Website I will restore it to the most recent available backup before the problematic update at no charge.
5 Third Party Services
5.1 I use various third party services to provide the Service. As such, I am dependent on the performance of those services for the proper performance of the Service. I will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the Service operates as agreed, I am not liable for any failures of the Service.
6.1 Fees for the Service are payable annually in advance and the Service will renew automatically unless You ask Me to cancel it.
