I sometimes take on web projects of a more technical nature, where a specific aspect of the website needs development – in particular in the ecommerce and credit card processing area. These projects tend not to be specific to WordPress, and usually require work with lower level technical frameworks such as CodeIgniter or payment gateway API’s.

Findhorn Foundation (2012)

Credit card payment integration

This project involved the development of a custom interface to the SagePay credit card processing system, to enable PCI DSS compliant online processing for a fundraising project.

Proposals submission system

This project involved using the CodeIgniter MVC framework to build a custom web interface for the application which the Foundation uses to manage and track workshop proposals.

Online store

Speyside Craft Brewery is an award winning microbrewery. This small project involved the creation of a simple PayPal based payment system for online orders.
